  • Dr. Amir Szold began his medical education at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel in 1979 where he graduated as MD in Medicine in 1987. He then continued his clinical experience as Resident in General Surgery at the Hadassah Medical School until 1993. During this time, he spent one year at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, USA where he continued as Resident in General Surgery. From 1993 he continued his clinical experience at Hadassah Medical School as an Attending Surgeon before moving to the Tel Aviv Medical Center where in 1998 he became Director of Endoscopic Surgery, a post he held until 2005.
