I think it should NOT be used. Evicence is clear in tgis sense and you should avoid a pur polypropilene mesh intraabdominally in contact with the bowel.

Evidence is “evident” in this sense that polipropilene mesh (PPM) should not be used intraperitoneally. Some surgeons promote the use but we consider that it is a risk that it should not be taken.
