In one of the robotic videos from Dr Parra we saw that a previous mesh was explanted, this would leave a big gap in the peritoneum, are there some tricks to close laparoscopically if seems that theres not enough tissue? and if it doesn’t close what would you do a coated mesh?

Never happened to me.
Some tricks: WIDE pre-peritoneal dissection. Lateral traction of the umbilical ligament. Omental patch. Hernia sac patch. Last resource IPOM mesh. Again, never need it for even mesh removal cases…
