Anthony Canfield, MD, FACS recently relocated to Denver, Colorado, after coming from his practice in Liberal, Kansas. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah and his medical school studies at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Maryland.
Dr. Canfield went on to complete his surgical residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. His list of awards include being a two-time Meritorious Service Medal Recipient and an Outstanding Young Surgeon in Colorado from the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Canfield has completed over 2,000 robotic procedures with the Davinci robot from Intuitive Surgical. He also teaches Advanced Hernia Courses for Intuitive Surgical and BD and runs an epicenter for training with Intuitive.

Dr. Gamagami is a board-certified general surgeon who has spent over 20 years providing surgical services to patients in academic, rural and urban settings. With his extensive credentials and experience, Dr. Gamagami is well known throughout the area and has pioneered many advanced surgical procedures using robotic-assisted technology.
Surgeons come from across North and South America every week to learn from Dr. Gamagami, who uses robotic technology for general, colon and rectal surgery.
Dr. Gamagami was the first surgeon to perform the area’s first Single-Site™ da Vinci® Si Cholecystectomy (robotic gallbladder surgery) at Silver Cross Hospital and is a leading expert for this and other digestive disorder surgeries in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. He’s a mentor for newly trained robotic surgeons to promote ongoing learning.
